International Vulture Awareness Day Celebrate in Pokhara

On the occasion of First International Vulture Awareness Day September 5th, With a slogan of ‘Save vulture, save environment’, photo exhibition kicked off on Saturday at Nepal Tourism Board Exhibition Hall in Pokhara .
Nepal’s Communication and Information Minister and spokesman Shankar Pokharel observes the Vulture photo exhibition.
This vulture’s photo exhibition is carrying out by Krishna Mani Baral, who is the photo journalist of Nepal’s national English daily The Himalayan Times and Nepali daily Annapurna Post. He is also a founder of animalrightsnepal.org wants to create an awareness in the preservation of vultures among the people through this exhibition.Lawmakers Rajkaji Gurung and Rabindra Adhikari had jointly inaugurated the exhibition.
The exhibition is Promoted by Nepal Tourism Board and supported by Pokhara sub-metropolitan city, Laxmi Group, Kamana Bikash Bank, Bishow Bikas Bank,Pokharacity.com, Fedration of Nepali Journalists(FNJ) Kaski and National Forom of Photo Jouranalist Pokhara.
