President Dr Ram Baran Yadhav inaugurated the Four days long International Community Forestry workshop, (15-18th September 2009) on Tuesday in Hotel Grand Pardhi Pokhara, Nepal. The theme of the workshop is: “Thinking globally –Acting Locally: Community Forestry in the International Arena”.
Addressing inaugurating ceremony President Dr Yadhav said world is facing global warming so it is hour to preserve forest and ecosystem. Mountain and glacier are melting its affect human life and ecosystem so preserving forest and environment is today world concern Dr Yadhav said.
In this workshop 32 country 76 participants are participating. The workshop theme emphasises the need for urgency in the worldwide response to community rights, poverty alleviation, and climate change and for action on the part of all stakeholders at the global, national, regional and local levels.

Exhibition is organized on the occasion of Four days long International Community Forestry workshop. Vulture’s photo exhibition is carrying out by Krishna Mani Baral, who is the photo journalist of Nepal’s national English daily The Himalayan Times and Nepali daily Annapurna Post. He is also a founder of animalrightsnepal.org wants to create an awareness in the preservation of vultures among the participants through this exhibition.
