Animal Rights Urged to Include in Constitution

Pokhara: A memorandum demanding to incorporate the animal rights in the upcoming constitution has been handed over to the 18-number group of lawmakers in their farewell ceremony who were here to gather suggestions from the civilians of Kaski and Syangja districts of Mid-Nepal.

Krishna Mani Baral who is the founder of animalrightnepal.org submitted that memorandum to the team leader Ms. Amrita Thapa Magar in District Development Office Kaski on Saturday. She pledged the initiation of animal rights’ incorporation in the constitution, said Baral as saying Thapa Magar.
The condition of rare animals is vulnerable so, they should be protected considering their right to live, in constitution, the memorandum states, the government should bring the programs that should be focused on awareness creating activities.

In this country where peoples forget the basic needs apporach to the human being and human rights, do they feel it mind blowing.
