Snakes Worship in Nepal
People worship Snakes in Nepal but its very sad news Snakes are killed in Snakes Festival on wednesday in Pokhara . One mother along with five children are killed in Nagpanchami(Snake Festival) in Bagar, Pokhara.
Nagapanchami(Snake Festival) is celebrated by hindus living all over the whole. In this day, the picture of snakes are placed above the main entrance of each hindu family house with a believe that snakes will protect their homes.
Inspite of such believe in Pokhara at Bagar one mother snake with five baby snakes were killed. People who were present say, its a bad symbol. If anyone thinks it’s a traditional belief even than if we see it scientifically we should learn to respect the identity and existance of each and every single living creature. If we wont start thinking of preserving animals now than its never. Lets save all living creature save future.
