Animals worship In Nepal

Tihar second biggest festival after Dashain people worship Animals in Nepal. It is the festival of Lights tinsel decoration and sweets. On different days, People worship crows, dogs, ox and cow with vermilion, garland and delicious food for their important role in the society.

In marriage ceremony also people worship cow in Hindu religion. In Hindu religion Worship animal means love animal and save ecosystem but happening different. Every religions philosophy said giving trouble to other and killing animal is crime but today people go against Religion. Now a day people kill animal even human kill human name of God so stop killing ourselves, animals and save future.

  1. worship animals ??? just treat them fairly as you would any other human is more than enough. i mean what do these poor animals know what worshipping is ? just being kind and affectionate towards them throughout the year is i feel a better option than ” worshipping ” them on just ONE day of the year…
    i just read here that many street dogs were poisened and killed in pokhara !!! i am aware of the diseases and trouble these dogs “could” cause.
    in bhutan too street dog’s population had increased incredibly .. so the govt. caught every dog and operated them from further reproducing. Isnt it time to start learning from our flourishing neigbouring countries ??? or will we just be proud to be the way we are .. ignorant ???
